If the clay is very dry you may want to apply a coat of PVA to prevent the silicone from sticking to the dry surface. However, if you are using a Platinum silicone the clay must be sulfur-free, and you should always do a small test cure first to be sure there won't be any inhibition. Silicone rubbers can be poured or brushed against an oil-based or water-based clay with no additional preparation, as these are not moisture sensitive.
Taking that into account, I feel that Slashing is the best damage type (as it is only slightly more resisted than Bludgeoning, but has way more enemies with a weakness). For Weaknesses, 1 is weak to Bludgeoning, 7 weak to slashing, and 0 weak to piercing. Today when I logged on it was all the way up at 100,000 RF (100), so I synthesized my polytool, which obviously used some of the stored power. Water-based clay is not recommended for polyurethane rubber mold making. For Resistances, 9 creatures resist Bludgeoning, 10 resist Slashing, and 14 resist Piercing. Then the synthesizer is a whole other oddball last night I used all of the power stored in the synthesizer and it was slowly going up to 100 RF, then 200 RF, and so on. Materials in Minecraft can all be broken down into basic compounds and elements with MineChem, which can then be turned back into other compounds and materials, like can be done with real-life chemistry.

This mod is all about science particularly chemistry and basic physics. The risk is that moisture will cause the polyurethane rubber to foam or bubble and give you a bubbly surface on your mold. MineChem is a mod originally by ljdp, then maintained by Rush12, now maintained by jakimfett and pixlepix. If the clay is still a little moist, a heavy coat of Pol-Ease 2300 brushed around well should be fine. If you used a water-based clay that has dried out, you will need to seal the model with Poly PVA Solution first, then apply Pol-Ease 2300. Don't use Pol-Ease® 2350 Sealer & Release Agent or Pol圜oat Sealer & Release Agent as these may soften the surface of the clay and damage your model. Use Pol-Ease® 2300 Release Agent and brush it into all the details carefully so you don't damage the clay. Although the polyurethane will release from the clay without release, the clay will stick in spots and you will have to spend more time cleaning out the rubber mold. A non drying oil based clay should be treated with release before making a polyurethane mold.
